The following is a brief overview of the plans most often offered to schools for their International Students and Scholars.
Please note this is not a complete description of the plans; it simply provides a quick comparison of deductibles and co-payment percentages. A full description of the benefits, limitations and exclusions will be sent to you upon request.

Plan Maximum: |
$100,000 per covered injury or sickness for Students/Scholars
$50,000 per covered injury or sickness for Dependents |

Deductible: |
$100. This deductible is waived entirely for conditions treated or referred by an institution's Health Services (for students only) |

Coverage: |
Covered Medical Expenses incurred over the deductible are covered at 80% up to $2,500; from $2,501 to $10,000 at 90%; and from $10,001 to $100,000 at 100%. Outpatient Prescription Drugs: $10 co-pay to $1,000
Repatriation - $7,500; Medical Evacuation - $10,000 |
Monthly premium rates start at $55 for age 25 & under. (Special quotes and benefit changes are available upon request).

$200. This deductible is reduced to $100 for conditions treated or referred by an institution's Health Services (for students only) |

Coverage: |
Covered Medical Expenses incurred over the deductible are covered at 80% up to $5,000; from $5,001 to $10,000 at 90%; and from $10,001 to $50,000 at 100%. Outpatient Prescription Drugs: 50% to $500
Repatriation - $7,500; Medical Evacuation - $10,000 |
Monthly premium rates start at $42 for age 25 & under. (Special quotes and benefit changes are available upon request).

Applicable to all plans:
- Continuous coverage is available from previous insurance company for continuously insured persons.
- Standard (pooled) premium rates are available for smaller schools with no prior claim history; or special premium rates are available for larger groups or groups with prior claim history; or special premium rates are available for larger groups with prior premium/claim history.
- Premiums may be quoted at a composite rate, rather than age rated, upon request!
- Benefit designs and exclusions may be altered to meet your needs!
- Various premium collection methods are available...we are flexible.
